We are hosting the largest gathering of electric cargo experts on Wednesday 15th September to launch the Energy Saving Trusts’s eCargo Bike Grant Fund Scheme! Industry experts, ranging from heads of manufacturers, key thought leaders in the industry, government spokespeople and a range of SME’s and larger corporations will be in attendance, alongside both local and national press & media.

The event will showcase the benefits of eCargo Bikes for Business, with opportunities to see and trial a range of eCargo bikes and learn from businesses already reaping the benefits of eCargoes in their fleet.

Rachel Swiatek, Programme Manager at the Energy Saving Trust, will be giving a talk surrounding the grant and what applicants can do to be permitted for the fund which could save businesses up to 40% of the total cost of an eCargo bike (up to £2,500 for two-wheeled models and £4,500 for three-wheeled models).

Our very own Head of Business Dan Parsons will be doing a talk surrounding the benefits of eCargoes for businesses, and we will also hear from a panel of industry experts and partners that have facilitated the fund before, for future applicants to take note!

Everyone is welcome to join from 18:00 onwards, with the talks commencing at 19:00, and will be finished by 20:00. There will be some nibbles, alcohol and soft-drinks available, all being brought to us by local businesses on cargo bikes (would you expect anything else?!).
