Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate appropriate to the country of receipt within the EU. VAT is not included in our prices for customers outside of the EU. Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the Total Cost'.

Where Finance or Cycle to Work scheme is chosen as a method of payment, these may not be used in conjunection with any other offer or discount.

 

Price Match

We understand that you have other options when considering your purchase in today’s competitive marketplace, but we’d love to have you as part of the Fully Charged family. We strive to offer unbeatable service and competitive prices, so if you do find something cheaper elsewhere, do please get in touch, providing proof of a lower price and we’ll do our best to match it. However we ask that the match:

  • must be from a UK store (we cannot match overseas retailers)
  • must be a from bricks and mortar retail store (store cannot be online-only)
  • product must match exactly (colour, size etc)
  • product must be in stock and available

We reserve the right to contact the store to confirm the quoted price.

General Order Terms

Contracts between Fully Charged and its customers are covered by Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, legislation protecting buyers when buying online or by phone. These do not cover B2B sales, including sales under Cycle to Work schemes. Goods purcahsed with finance are subject to the agreement with the finance provider.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Fully Charged reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Fully Charged reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. We may require additional verifications or informationbefore accepting any order. Fully Charged is a retailer to end user customers and does not accept orders from exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by Fully Charged.

 

International Warranty Work

If you are purchase internationally and the bike manufacturer does not have a warranty network in your country, you have to organize and fund the return of your bike to Fully Charged. Alternatively, we can send out parts to you (except batteries and motors) and offer skype calls to experienced bike mechanics at our normal work shop rates should it be required.

 

Cancellations and Returns

All goods and services supplied (including new products and completed services/repairs) must be immediately inspected upon receipt and we must be notified in writing within 48 hours of any apparent faults, defects or other issues. You agree that all communications between us may be via e-mail.

If you wish to cancel an order purchased online, you may do so provided that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods.

Your right to return or cancel products does not apply to goods that are custom-built, are ordered to your specification, or that have been clearly personalised. This doesn't affect your statutory rights if goods arefaulty or not as described.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must make contact with Fully Charged and notify of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, address, details of the order you wish to cancel, including also your preferred contact details (phone number and email address).

If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to use at your cost within 14 days of such cancellation and we will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply.

Fully Charged reserves the right to make a refund less any costs relating to loss in value as a result of damage, mishandling, or other devaluation though use of the goods. Refunds shall be made within 14 days ofreceipt of the returned goods, made using the same means of payment as used forthe initial order transaction.

 

In-store Purchases

Contracts relating to all in-store (on-premises) purchases, including B2B sales and those supplied under Cycle to Work schemes are final. Goods purchased with finance are subject to the agreement with the finance provider. Deposits are transferable into store credit, but are not refundable. Returns or cancellations can only be accepted for goods deemed not of satisfactory quality, or that they do not match a model seen or examined as defined by the Consumer Rights Act. All goods should be thoroughly inspected by the customer prior to leaving the premises. Any goods having left the premises are deemed as accepted by the customer.

 

Cycle Schemes

All cycle scheme providers charge a fee to Fully Charged for acting as middle-man in the transaction. These fees are: Green Commute Initiative 5%, Cyclescheme 10%, Bike2Work 10%, Cycleplus 10%. Fully Charged reserves the right to charge an admin fee when processing cycle scheme vouchers, not greater than those listed above, to cover these fees. Please note that Fully Charged do not make additional profit from this purchase and the additional fee covers only the commission charged. All providers are aware that this fee may be charged.

 

Derestriction

Customers choosing to ‘derestrict’ their eBike acknowledge the fact that their eBike no longer conforms to EN15194, the European legislation for Electric Pedal Assisted Cycles and as such is illegal for use anywhere other than on private land, with express permission from the landowner.

Such de-restricted eBikes should not be used on the public highway, cycle paths or other publicly accessible routes.

Customers purchasing a de-restriction kit acknowledge their responsibility to use only as directed. Fully Charged accept no liability for customer actions.

Please note that the de-restriction kits are manufactured by a third-party and are not endorsed by Bosch or Yamaha. No warranty is available on these components. Fitment of a de-restriction kit may void any given manufactuer’s warranty.

 

Software Updates

eBikes are sophisticated machines comprising of both hardware and software. As hardware is maintainted, it is so too necessary to maintain the software element.

Manufactures may from time to time release software updates, modifications, upgrades and supplements which might affect the performance of the product. Software updates are released by the manufacturer (or an associated third party) and as such a product’s performance may be subject to change, without notice.

Fully Charged accepts no responsibility for a product’s performance changing through the course of its use. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to manage software updates and accept the risks of doing so. For more information, consult the manufacturer’s guidance.

 

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

Your use of this Website and these Terms and Conditions of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and will be deemed to have occurred in England.

You agree that any legal action brought against Fully Charged shall be governed by the laws of England without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that the sole jurisdiction and venue for any litigation arising from your use of or orders made on the Fully Charged website shall be an appropriate federal or county court located in Southern England.
