The Cruz, is the second electric bike created by Vintage Electric and is in many ways very similar to its older brother the e-Tracker. It has Shimano disc brakes, regenerative braking, a Brooks saddle and many of the other features of the eTracker. However it combines all of these features with a Chromoly Steel frame complete with an Alder Wood tank inlay giving the bike a different aesthetic similar to the board track motor bikes of the 1900's.

The Cruz, like the eTracker, is one of the first electric bikes that we have seen that includes a regenerative braking system. By tapping the red button on the handlebar, when you want to slow down, the bike captures the kinetic energy produced from braking and feeds it back into the battery allowing you to ride for longer on a single charge.
The Cruz comes fitted as standard with Shimano disc brakes, industry leading brakes based on Formula 1 braking technology.

Schwalbe have come to be recognized as producing industry leading electric bike tyres. These Fat Franks use a woven kevlar to provide the type of high endurance tyre required for a bike with the performance of the Cruz.
The Cruz has an exceptionally light frame.
The bike has exceptionally simple to use controls, making it incredibly intuitive to ride.
The Cruz, like the eTracker before it, uses Phil Woods Hubs, also manufactured in California that provide an exceptionally smooth ride.
