The Sidekick Cold Weather Kit is built for e-bike speeds and all-season riding, helping young riders stay warm, comfortable, and ready to roll—whatever the forecast brings. Designed specifically for the Sidekick helmet, this kit keeps kids toasty without compromising fit, safety, or performance.
Unlike generic winter add-ons that bunch up under helmets or ruin the fit, the Cold Weather Kit is purpose-built to integrate seamlessly with the Sidekick. That means the helmet maintains its original fit and protection while adding the warmth kids need for cold-weather commuting and weekend rides.
The system is also fully configurable for changing temperatures. For the coldest days, combine the Top Knit and Ear Cups for full warmth and coverage. When things warm up, kids can wear just the Ear Cups to keep ears cozy while letting heat escape from the top.

Top Knit Temperature Control
A soft headband, mohawk-style top pad, and breathable mesh side panels work together to keep heads warm while helping regulate temperature during active rides. -
Comfort-Fit Ear Cups
Left and right ear covers snap securely into the helmet and cup the ears instead of flattening them, while helmet straps feed cleanly through for a snug, comfortable fit. -
Reflective Piping for Visibility
Shorter days mean lower visibility. Highly reflective piping on the ear cups helps young riders stay seen in low-light conditions. -
Charm Compatible
Each ear cup features four reinforced button slots, making them fully compatible with charm accessories so kids can personalize their winter setup with endless combinations.
