About the Carla Cargo Trailer
Introducing the eCarla Cargo, the absolute powerhouse! With up to 1440Wh of capacity, the eCarla is capable of taking any delivery up to 100km of range, even with a full load! The Carla Cargo trailer completely reimagines what a bike trailer can be. This is a three-wheeled trailer, especially suited to powerful electric bikes. With a payload rating of 200kg, and with twin hydraulic overrun braking that automatically spread braking to each of the rear wheels, Carla has really thought of every inch of the engineering process. The Carla has a clever towbar system that also acts as a handle with which you can manoeuvre the trailer when unhitched. It will also stand on its end to lean against a wall for easier storage.

Important Information Prior to Purchase
The eCarla can be attached to most standard electric bikes. However, under UK law at the moment you cannot use an eBike and an eTrailer together.
This is seen as combining two motors to create a 500qw powered vehicle. Often it is best to choose either eBike and manual trailer or standard bike and electric trailer.
However, you can of course use both the eBike and eCarla in tandem with each other if you are on private property.
For the electric Carla Cargo to work, a sensor is fitted to the bike, and its wires run up to the seatpost of the bike itself. When the trailer is attached to the hitch on the bike, the wires from the trailer can attach to the wires on the bike. When you pedal on the bike this sends a signal to the motor on the trailer to give assistance. Assistance will give you up to 15.5mph.

Large loading area
The eCarla Cargo has a huge loading area: length 1650mm x width 650mm) and a loading volume of up to 1.5 m³. The trailer itself weights 42kg. The recommended load height: 1.50m from ground.
200kg payload and hand-trolley
Up to 200kg as a bike trailer and hand trolley which can be used in pedestrian zones and allows a very flexible use into buildings.
Customise Your Carla Cargo
Carla’s come in either yellow or black. Better still, you can customise your Carla Cargo based on your specific needs. The Carla can come with a 4Bike Carrier or Billy Bike, as well as the Carla Cargo Alloy and Canvas UK Box, or a Lockable Alloy Messenger Box for Carla Cargo.
Power and range
The eCarla Cargo trailer has a Bafang hub motor, and comes as standard with a range of 720Wh, but can be configured to come with DualBattery, giving you an unprecedented 1440Wh and 100km of range.
Safety
Comes with an innovative mechanical overrun brake, as well as mechanical disc brakes on the rear wheels. Carla Cargo’s also come with a wheel hub dynamo in the front wheel (Incl. LED tail lights with built-in reflectors).
