Cycle 2 Work Schemes
Power up your commute
We work with a number of cycle scheme providers to help make the purchase of your new eBike and accessories more affordable. Cycle schemes allow you to make a tax-free purchase, saving up to 47%, by paying for the eBike and accessories out of your pre-tax salary. Better still, being a salary sacrifice scheme, the payments are taken out of your salary over an extended period (usually 12 months) meaning you get to spread the costs also!
Cycle to Work schemes can be processed by emailing us at email@example.com.
Who is this bike suitable for?
Designed for utilitarian use, the Tern Quick Haul D8 is a compact eCargo bike perfectly suited to urban environments. It is capable of carrying up to 50kg on the rear rack, and an additional 20kg on the front rack.
The D8 model has the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, 400Wh Bosch Powerpack and Shimano Altus 8 speed gearing - making it the entry level specification for the Quick Haul.
Tern's ecosystem of accessories mean you can customise the bike to perfectly suit your needs. It's a multi-tool of an eBike, able to carry the kids to school, transport heavier loads or for use as a daily commuter.
Robust components and a rigid frame mean this bike is at home in the town, or in the countryside, it is capable of light gravel and bridleway riding, whatever the weather!
About the Quick Haul
Tern have long pioneered the compact eCargo bike category, and they are once again ahead of the game with what is one of the lightest eCargo bikes on the market to feature the acclaimed Bosch eBike system, weighing it at under 23kg.
The Quick Haul is designed to bring their cargo family to the masses, by offering a product that is competitively priced.
It is no bigger than a normal city bike, it can carry a small passenger, it can do the weekly shop, it can do daily last-mile deliveries if you’re a business owner. It simply brings the city to your feet.
What the expert says
‘Overall the Quick Haul is a really easy bike to get on with, and if you’re looking to replace car journeys with bike journeys it makes a solid case for your cash. It’ll do pretty much anything the HSD will do, for significantly less, and the price puts it in more of a straight fight with standard city bikes, a fight it’s well-equipped to win. It’s not as good as the GSD, which remains my favourite bike of the three, even with the hefty price tag. But it’s an excellent bike for the money and easy to recommend.’

The Quick Haul shares many of the qualities that made it's older siblings so popular - enormous carrying capability, super strong racks, a wide array of accessory options and the Bosch eBike system.
The Quick Haul can roll & lift vertically to fit in small spaces. It’s got a footprint about the size of a potted plant.
Active Line Plus Motor
The Quick Haul D8 features the Active Line Plus motor which produces 50Nm of torque.
Fits the family
The seat-post and Speedlifter stem move up and down so the Quick Haul can accomodate riders sharing the bike between 4ft11 and 6ft5.
Low step frame
Easy to hop on, and hop off. The design also features a handlebar for lifting into a vehicle, train platform or those few front steps to the house.
With a heavy-duty, extra-long rear rack and an optional front rack, the Quick Haul can carry up to 400% more than the average city bike.
With a modular set up, your passengers can ride from 18 months old up to 50kg on the rear rack, thanks to the Yepp Maxi, Clubhouse Mini and seat pad set ups.
