Riese and Muller Urban Electric Bike Event, October 21/22

After the success of our electric mountain biking events, held in the beautiful Surrey Hills, we have teamed up with Riese and Muller to offer an urban event and the opportunity to test ride a range of incredible e-bikes.

Riese and Muller are providing twelve of their award-winning electric bikes for trial over two rides on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October. The event will start and finish at the Fully Charged showroom map here, making our way over Tower Bridge, taking in sights of the Thames and the Tower of London, weaving our way through east London streets and Victoria Park, to the Olympic Park and the Lee Valley Mountain Biking Centre, where we’ll put the bikes through their paces on purpose-built tracks.

Never ridden an electric bike and want to know what all the fuss is about, or already converted and looking to try out some new wheels? Either way, you’re very welcome!

Whether your are a Fully Charged customer or not, if you have an electric bike and want to join in, please do! Select a BYO ticket and come and join in. We would love to see as many of you on the start of the tours as possible and hope that together we can help share the benefits of electric bikes with as many people as we can!

FAQs

Is there a minimum age for the event?

The minimum age for electric bikes is 14 years, however riders must be of an appropriate height that they can safely operate their electric bike. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. We are sorry, but we cannot guarantee availability of frame sizes.

What should you bring to the event?

The event is designed to be as inclusive as possible. Whilst we have a number of cycle helmets which can be offered to you, we are unable to guarantee their availability or fit. Please do feel free to bring your own. We would also recommend high-visibility clothing. Do check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

Is it a free event?

Yes…but. The bikes are offered free of charge. If you wish to take a bike around the tracks at the Lee Valley Mountain bike centre, a charge of £5.00 per person is payable.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Where possible, we would advise using public transport. The Fully Charged showroom is located a short walk from London Bridge station. For those travelling from further afield, there is meter parking on close-by Morocco Street and there is a multi-storey car park on Snowsfields, both within 200m.
