Compact Size, Serious Carrying Capacity
The HSD might be smaller than many conventional cargo bikes, but its Atlas H rear rack is rated to carry up to 80kg. With the appropriate accessories, that means space for a child, an adult passenger or plenty of everyday cargo.
A maximum gross vehicle weight of 190kg, longer wheelbase and low centre of gravity help keep the bike stable and predictable when carrying heavier loads.
Bosch Performance Line PX Power
The HSD S9i is powered by Bosch's Performance Line PX motor, delivering up to 90Nm of torque and 600% pedal assistance with Performance Upgrade 2.0.
That extra assistance comes into its own when setting off with a passenger, tackling hills or carrying a fully loaded bike. A Bosch PowerPack 545 battery provides a claimed range of up to 64 miles.
The Bosch Smart System brings together the Kiox 300 display, LED Remote and Bosch ConnectModule. With Flow+, you can access features including GPS tracking and eBike Alarm through the Bosch eBike Flow app.
Bosch eShift & 3x3 NINE Gearing
The S9i pairs Bosch eShift with the 3x3 NINE 9-speed internal gear hub, giving you a huge 554% gear range. Electronic shifting allows you to change gear under load or while stationary – particularly handy when stopping and starting in traffic.
It's paired with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive for quiet, smooth and low-maintenance everyday riding, without the regular lubrication required by a traditional chain.
