Cycle to Work Day 2015

3rd September 2015 marks the hotly anticipated 2015 Cycle to Work Day. Celebrating the pedal-powered commuters around the nation, cyclists and non-bike users are encouraged to shake up their daily routine and head to work on a bike, e-bike or recumbent bicycle.

According to census data, 760,000 people in the UK regularly use pedal-power to get to work everyday, and the Cycle to Work Day organisation is aiming to raise that number to over 1 million come 2021. This number is an increase of over 90,000 from 2001, showing that cycling to work is a growing trend that is set to continue over the coming years.

For those of you who want to join in this fantastic, planet-saving initiative but don’t fancy turning up to work all hot and bothered, we stock an excellent range of electric bikes that will cut your commute in half – meaning you can enjoy the scenic route to work at a high speed, without breaking into a sweat.

All of our e-bikes are also available through our highly popular Cycle to Work scheme. In some cases, you can save up to 40% off the cost of an e-bike when using the proC2W setup; up to £1000 on certain e-bikes!

If you’re already a keen cyclist and want to make your ride to work that much better, we’ve got a great selection of accessories, clothing and helmets in our London Bridge based store, ranging from the ultra-chic Rains clothing to the sturdy, comfortable Bern helmets.
