Assisting you while you nip around town on the HSD is Bosch's Active Line Plus motor. Featuring 50Nm torque, utilised across four modes of assistance (eco, tour, sport, turbo), combined with the 400Wh battery, autonomy will be between 25 and 95 miles.
Combining the Gates CDX Carbon belt with the internal Shimano 8-speed hub gear provides a clean, hassle free and low maintenance ride!

Gates CDX Carbon Belt
With a lifespan of around 20,000 miles, the CDX carbon belt won't stretch or wear in the same way a chain will. Also around 100g lighter than a traditional chain, with no need to lubricate or degrease, a carbon belt is extremely easy to live with
Bosch Power
A 400Wh Bosch PowerPack provides the power for the HSD to transport you and your cargo to your destination. Riders will see assisted travel between 25 and 90 miles. Conditions, rider and assistance mode will have an impact.
Sleek Display
Situated on the left hand side of the handlebars, the sleek Bosch Purion display packs a lot of data in! From assistance mode to predicted range, the Purion makes ride info easy to view. This display also controls the lighting and Walk Assist.

The strengthened front mounting point on the HSD S8i allows for the easy transportation of your laptop, dinner, sports kit or many other items. Compatable with a range of Tern accessories.
