About the Tern HSD S+
The S+ is Tern’s flagship HSD model, equipped with the Bosch Performance Line motor with an Intuvia display and a 500Wh battery (keyed-alike with ABUS front frame lock) for ranges of up to 75 miles without a single charge.
The integrated Enviolo AUTOMATiQ shifting system, with the Enviolo Sport 380 continuous hub makes sure you can focus simply on riding.

Custom Suntour suspension forks and a Cane Creek Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost ensure comfort over any terrain, and with an adjustable stem handlebar, the S+ can fit riders from 4’11 - 6’5 (150-195cm).
The extra long and extra strong Atlas H Rack can handle up to 60 kg of cargo and can fit your kid, your groceries or can be loaded up for an adventure of your choice.

Enviolo Automatiq Hub
The new Enviolo AUTOMATiQ system does all of the shifting for you, so you can worry less and bike more. It shifts up as you accelerate from a standstill, and shift down when you reach a stoplight. Set your desired pedaling cadence on the integrated Bosch Intuvia controller and let Enviolo do the rest.
Carrying Capacity
Despite its stature, the HSD is a mid-sized compact cargo bike with serious hauling capacity. With a maximum gross vehicle weight of 170 kg (374lb) and an XL-sixed Atlas H Rack, it’ll carry 60kg of cargo for your child week’s worth of groceries or camping equipment for the weekend. It even has a dedicated trailer mount.
Folding and Parking
Inside of fifteen seconds and the HSD S+ can transform into a flat package that is ideal for fitting into any SUV, station wagon or bus storage compartment. Similar to all HSD’s and GSD’s the S+ flips up for convenient vertical parking.
