eMTB Treasure Hunt

Across the weekend of the 28th and 29th July, Fully Charged will be heading to Peaslake in the Surrey Hills, for two days of eMTB (Electric Mountain Bike) fun, team work and e-assisted hill climbing to some of the most incredible view points whilst riding some of the most epic trails in the Surrey Hills…

We will be partnering with brands such as Riese & Muller, Moustache, Haibike and KTM to bring you possibly the largest eMTB meet up in the country!

Saturday is the day to turn up if you’re looking for eMTB advice. You’ll have the chance to talk to experts and enthusiasts, and then head out for a sporadic ride with the opportunity to check out a few different styles of electric mountain bike. There will be some one-hour group rides with experienced navigators throughout the day. There is no booking required, just turn up with a valid ID and in appropriate clothing. This day is £FOC.

The headline event on Sunday is the treasure hunt! Lead your squad of (up to) four on a three-hour hunt across the Surrey Hills exploring and facing some challenges and mysteries set by the Fully Charged Team. At the beginning of the hunt you will be provided with a number of cryptic clues as to your direction of travel and destination.

Remaining battery will also be a factor when it comes to judging the winning team, removing the temptation to increase the power to ‘Turbo’ and win on sheer speed alone!

We have some fantastic prizes for the top three teams. Coming in third will see you travelling home with an accessory bundle from Fully Charged. The second place team will leave Peaslake with a full belly. Dinner for four the Hurtwood Inn Restaurant, including a bottle of prosecco, starters mains and dessert plus two bottles of wine to wash down a fantastic dinner!

First prize winners will receive two Haibike’s on loan, free of charge for 12 months! On the day we shall be bringing two Haibike SDuro FullSeven LT 4.0s in medium which the winners will be able to take away.

If you would prefer a different size or model, you have free range to choose any Haibike eMTB up to £3000 – depending on stock availability.

At the end of the 12 month period, if you find you have fallen in love with the eBike you will have the chance to purchase the eMTBs at 50% of the RRP!

Whether you’ve racked up thousands of hours on your eMTB, or the treasure hunt is your first foray in to the world of electric mountain biking, the hunt will be suited to all abilities, with everyone welcome!

The first team will ride out at 10am with subsequent teams departing in 10-minute intervals.

If you have your four-person team sorted, please try and book simultaneously or as one booking. We will be able to shuffle a bit on the day but there are no guarantees! Tickets are available for those who are already taking on the trails on their own eMTBs!

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Driving is recommended and there are overflow car parks in the village. For those travelling from the city, there is one direct train from Victoria to Dorking Station. Taxis can be hailed to Peaslake for around £25 each way.

What’s included with my ticket?

Firstly, admission to our Treausure Hunt and those booking rental will get their eMTB for the day. Included in the price is a delicious BBQ orchestrated by the head chef of The Hurtwood Inn, Silvano Mazzoli. This will be delicious fresh burgers, with a meat free option for those on a plant based diet. Refreshements will also be available across the day.

What can I bring into the event?

Play it by ear. If rain is forecasted, bring clothing you wont mind getting mud all over! If we’re blessed with sun, lots of water and sun cream is highly recommended. There are some refreshments available at one of the view points (they only accept cash).
